چکیده

Background: Although several studies have been done but there are only few on the data of bells palsy's treatment with electrical stimulation home-based exercise versus proprioceptive neuro muscular facilitation (rhythmic initiation, repeated stretch) technique in bell’s palsy patients were not studied details.Aim: To know effects neuro- patients.Design: A Comparative study.Setting: This study took place from September 12, 2021 to June 09, 2022 at OPD neurology department and physiotherapy Pacific Hospital, Udaipur, Rajasthan, IndiaPopulation: 30 male & female age group 20-50 years old subjects diagnosed Bell’s facial palsy. Methods: The severity was classified as normal, mild dysfunction, moderate moderately severe, severe dysfunction total paralysis defined according House-Brackmann Scale Sunnybrook grading scale. Results: results did yield statistically significant differences between two groups; they provided valuable insights into demographic patterns within each group. distribution Group B, age, sex, reflexes, functional disability impairment, sunnybrook scale, house Brackmann scale communication, chi-square value p 1.000, indicating no difference groups. Conclusion: highlights cases based various factors B. analysis explored groups, dental subjective biting-related habits, headache disability, socializing. Overall, distributions similar non-significant observed most comparisons.

Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in combination with electrical stimulation: combined treatment in comparison to each treatment alone.

The objective of the study was a quantitative examination of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) exercise in simultaneous combination with FES of lower extremity muscles in comparison to voluntary movement, training with PNF alone, or training with FES alone. Two subjects were monitored during a one-month rehabilitation period. The PNF pattern included flexion, adduction, and extern...

Low-Level Laser Therapy Versus Electrical Stimulation for the Management of Acute Bell\'s Palsy: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Purpose: Electrotherapy is a common intervention for the rehabilitation of Bell’s palsy. Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and electrical stimulation (ES) are two therapeutic interventions for Bell’s palsy that have been proven to be superior to conventional treatments. To date, no clinical trial has compared the effectiveness of these two interventions. This pilot study aims to compare the effect...
